Facebook click on Share button

I am using the following code to automatically share posts from a Facebook page on to my personal feed. It’s supposed to login to Facebook and then click on the Share button under the first post - which should repost it to my personal feed.

OpenBrowser Chrome “Redirecting...”
Click Text “Email or phone number” [1]
ClickAndWrite InputLabel [2] “601-111-111”
Click Button [3]
ClickAndWrite Button [3] “password”
Click Text “Log In” [1]
Click Text “Share” [0]

The bot logs in successfully but for some reason it does NOT click on the “Share” button under the posts.

What could be the reason?

Hi @voivoda ,

Is share button visible on the screen on the screen? You can click verify location of the screen you have to see if there is any text detected on the screen. If this is the case, Please share the exact screen you have when you are trying to click the share button.

Yes, the Share button is on the page: O'Tiny House | Sheridan WY

Also you can see in the screenshot. I’ve used uxer screenshot function to identify the Share button.

So when you click “verify location” icon, Uxer able to find the location but when you are running automation, it doesn’t find.

If that is the case, could you please go to reports, go to that step, go to view details window and and see the screenshot what do you see there?

For example there should be a screenshot similar to below image.

When I click on the Screenshot icon as you suggested I can see a screenshot of the page BUT… that screenshot includes only the top part of the page.

The screenshot doesn’t show the Share button (looks like the screenshot is only showing the top part of the page not the whole page. To see the Share button I usually need to scroll down the page.

Here is what the screenshot looks like

Here’s what the step details show:

Actually now that I looked at the screenshot again the Share button does show.

Uxer is working like a human, if it is visible directly on the screen it should work, if it doesn’t you need to scroll first and then click it.

You can scroll wit below steps. Make sure that the mouse is on the right place when you are scrolling. It is same as your mouse. It will scroll only on the place you have the mouse cursor. Same behavior as your mouse wheel.

Scroll 5

Scroll 5 -Untilvisible Text “share”
